Suddath® is pleased to announce its central Florida operation has received the 2016 Branch of the Year award, which recognizes overall top performance in the areas of safety, quality, capacity management and financial performance. The Orlando and Melbourne facilities combine to perform the central Florida operation.
National Volunteer Week April 23-29, 2017
Next week is volunteer week and we wanted to highlight some of our Facility Managers who have their CFM credentials to help other facility managers get theirs! This takes time and effort for these volunteers to give back, and it is so appreciated. They have been taking turns leading a study group of members!

Facilithon 2017
Our chapter’s Facilithon Competition (what is a Facilithon?) which is being conducted through the SkillsUSA Florida Conference is upon us. If you cannot attend the actual conference in Lakeland, as an active chapter member, you are now invited to attend the GOC Facilithon Pre-event Mixer on Thursday, April 20th at the Friendly Confines (4757 S Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32806) to learn more about the contest which will be held in April 24 and 25th.
At the Mixer Volunteer Judges and any other support personnel will be informed of their role for the contest. Others are being invited to inform you of the overall program that is being presented by the Chapter to promote the FM industry to the secondary and post-secondary young people in our community.

Upcoming Exclusive Behind the Scenes Tours
One of the great benefits of your IFMA membership is exclusive behind the scenes tours of unique facilities in Central Florida! Some of our past tours included NASA, Walt Disney World, and the Orlando International Airport. These tours take considerable coordinating and other IFMA members going out of their way to make it happen.
